The Appearance of Steppenwolf
Steppenwolf will be the central antagonist in this installment of Justice League. His design is considered quite menacing compared to the comics, as he sports an intimidating armored look complemented with two curved blades and a formidable battle axe.
Steppenwolf has appeared on Themyscira, the home of Wonder Woman, and for those who may not know, Steppenwolf in the comics is a servant of Darkseid, the leader of the Apokolips forces who poses a significant threat to all of our superheroes.
No Lantern, No Kryptonian
Steppenwolf’s statement that there are no protective Lanterns or Kryptonians highlights a rather “lightweight” feeling regarding our remaining superheroes.
