T1 Superstar Gumayusi Shows Signs of Overexertion
It’s hard to ignore the signs, especially after T1’s recent victory against DRX, where the star player, Gumayusi, seemed to be in a prolonged state of fatigue. The 2002-born talent was last seen participating in a match at LoL Park against Nongshim RedForce. However, Gumayusi appears to have dedicated all his time to climbing the ranks, focusing primarily on his favored champions: Ezreal, Kai’Sa, and Zeri.

However, according to several fans, there have been noticeable signs that Gumayusi has been overexerting himself lately. Specifically, he livestreamed a rank climb that lasted from 11:45 AM on February 10 to 4:05 AM on February 11 (Vietnam time), with a mere three hours of rest during that period.
Interestingly, both Gumayusi himself and fans have observed moments where he seemed visibly exhausted, particularly when T1 was on an eight-game losing streak. During one of these matches, where he played as Jinx, he faced intense pressure and ended up with a staggering 70k damage dealt but still couldn’t secure a win.

Fans Express Concern for Gumayusi
Across various platforms, numerous fans have openly expressed their concerns as they noticed Gumayusi’s continued struggles. In fact, if he didn’t secure a win against Caitlyn, there’s a possibility that T1’s superstar may continue to face challenges and struggle to break the losing streak before taking a break.

It’s clear that the current state of affairs is quite challenging for Gumayusi, but he must also maintain a positive mindset. In the past, there have been several players who faced significant burnout and stress due to excessive pressure, and Gumayusi needs to ensure that he finds balance.
