Smash’s “Not Happy” Reaction Despite T1’s Victory
The second week of the LCK Regular Season presents a significant challenge for T1 as they face HLE. Consequently, their upcoming match against KT becomes crucial for boosting the team’s morale ahead of their encounter with HLE at the weekend. In their recent match, T1 decisively defeated KT with a score of 2-0, paving the way for a more confident showdown against HLE.

Despite their impressive victory, Smash, T1’s mid-laner, expressed his dissatisfaction following the match against KT. He cited issues with his own gameplay, particularly in the second game where he felt he made several mistakes during crucial team fights, leaving T1 struggling in the mid-game. Furthermore, Smash mentioned that he is recovering from a minor illness, which may have affected his performance, as he felt less than optimal entering the match.

“I felt quite frustrated with my own performance in game two. There were two distinct fights where I played too aggressively, positioning poorly and getting caught, which caused significant problems for our team. I realized that if I had just played more cautiously, we could have secured a smoother victory. I appreciate my teammates for playing well and helping us clinch the win. However, I still feel somewhat unwell from an illness last week, and I’m not entirely sure of my condition for upcoming matches,” Smash shared after the match against KT.

Smash Needs to Sharpen Skills in T1’s Playstyle
Reflecting on the second game against KT, spectators noticed that Smash seemed out of sync, particularly in his choice of champions like Miss Fortune. While he performed well with Kai’Sa in the first match, his choice to play Miss Fortune limited his effectiveness in team fights. This discrepancy contributed to T1’s struggles in engagements, leading to challenges against KT.

This situation highlights that Smash must focus on playing well with hyper-carry champions while ensuring he adapts his strategies effectively. Understanding that League of Legends is a game with diverse tactical approaches, he needs to improve his gameplay significantly if he wants to become a formidable opponent for T1’s rivals.
