The Rise of the Robot Brawler in TFT Set 14
In the recent updates of TFT Set 14, the Robot Brawler has consistently received significant buffs and enhancements, making it a formidable force in the game. In patch 14.2, the damage of the Robot Brawler’s ultimate ability was increased, although it did not have a direct impact on the Robot Brawler’s formation. This is a rarity, as the game’s mechanics typically require the composition to meet a certain threshold before receiving such upgrades.

It is unfortunate that when Kog’Maw and Cho’Gath received powerful buffs in patch 14.3, this composition became even more robust. The buff to Kog’Maw’s damage will greatly enhance the Robot Brawler’s ability to sustain through the game effectively. Meanwhile, Cho’Gath will serve as a pivotal frontline champion, significantly increasing the team’s survivability with his enhanced health. This synergy allows the Robot Brawler composition to maintain high damage output while also being incredibly resilient, making it a “tank destroyer” on the battlefield.
Building the Robot Brawler Composition in TFT Set 14
In the early game, Kog’Maw will be an extremely important unit that players should prioritize. Combining him with Kindred, who also costs 1 gold, allows Kog’Maw to activate the 2 Brawler trait and ensure a strong damage output early on. With this frontline synergy, Skarner combined with any 1-cost frontline units will guarantee the team can sustain through this phase. By the time players reach level 5, Raahst will be an excellent choice when paired with the Mystic trait.

In the mid-game stage, players need to focus on leveling up and reaching level 9 as quickly as possible. Additionally, units like Gragas or Mordekaiser can be great additions as they will activate beneficial traits that boost damage for the composition. If players are fortunate enough to obtain Cho’Gath at level 7, they should prioritize the 4 Mystic trait to maximize the team’s survivability.

In the late game, players should focus on replacing Kog’Maw with Urgot as the primary damage dealer. Following this, Vex will serve as an excellent addition, activating the 2 Phantasm trait with Urgot and helping the team deal better damage. In scenarios where the Robot Brawler is available, Vex becomes a crucial unit as she can inflict substantial damage and provide significant crowd control.

Key Considerations When Building the Composition
When constructing the Robot Brawler composition, players should prioritize items that provide survivability for the frontline to ensure they can withstand damage in the early and mid-game stages. Therefore, Warmog’s Armor, Dragon’s Claw, and Spirit Visage should be prioritized for Skarner. For Urgot, this unit will require Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Sword of the Divine, and any item that enhances damage output. Given that the Phantasm trait significantly boosts survivability, Infinity Edge will be an ideal item for Urgot. In terms of upgrading traits, enhancements should be focused on maximizing the potential of the team’s core units.
