Tencent Integrates DeepSeek into PUBG Mobile
Recently, Tencent Games officially collaborated with DeepSeek to integrate artificial intelligence into the mobile tactical game, Peace Elite (PUBG Mobile localized version). This experiment will begin on February 25 and will open up widely for all players. This marks the first time a Tencent game utilizes a large-scale AI model, marking a significant step in integrating AI technology with mobile gaming.

Specifically, DeepSeek will be integrated into Gilly – an NPC who accompanies players in the game lobby. With AI technology, Gilly will serve as an intelligent assistant in real-time. She will always be present in the game lobby, helping players to hone their combat skills, strategize, and interact more naturally.

Gilly will also provide strategic guidance, introduce the latest game updates, highlight key features, and deliver helpful tips for gameplay.
Tencent Redefines In-Game Interaction
The integration of DeepSeek into PUBG Mobile not only enhances the interactive experience but also personalizes the gameplay. Players will be able to communicate with Gilly even while transitioning between different game modes without interruption. Moreover, the voice recognition feature will be implemented, allowing this NPC to respond to commands in real-time, thus making gameplay more dynamic and immersive.

Unlike traditional NPCs that respond according to predefined scripts, Gilly will be able to gather player data and update content according to each version, providing a highly customized experience. Thus, every player will enjoy a unique experience tailored to their style and needs.
In the future, PUBG Mobile will continue to expand its AI capabilities to build an interactive ecosystem. Tencent is laying a strong foundation, aiming to innovate in creating a new narrative where AI is not just a supportive tool but also an integral part of the player’s journey within the game.
