Tencent Launches Beta Version of Strinova Mobile in Southeast Asia
After more than a year of anticipation at the Tencent SPARK 2024 conference, the highly anticipated anime-themed game Strinova has finally entered its beta testing phase for mobile devices. Dubbed the “anime version of VALORANT,” this game has kept the international gaming community buzzing with its innovative gameplay, immersive visuals, and a unique combat system called “1-0-2.”

Specifically, on May 21, iDreamSky – the official publisher of Strinova Mobile – announced the opening of registrations for players to join a limited beta testing phase for Android and iOS. The primary launch region is Southeast Asia – a strategically promising gaming market.

This testing phase will not include any paid content and will proceed with the removal of data after its conclusion, all aimed at assessing functionality and gathering feedback from the gaming community. While the beta is still limited, interested players can register through the official Strinova account on X (Twitter) by participating in a publicly shared survey.
What Sets Strinova Mobile Apart from VALORANT Mobile?
For those still wondering about Strinova, this game features a 5v5v5 tactical shooter (TPS) format, boasting an anime-inspired art style, combined with a vibrant soundtrack and a gameplay mechanic that emphasizes “multi-dimensional” play. Players will take on the roles of superheroes belonging to various factions, battling in open environments with the ability to move freely and engage in dynamic fights.

A standout feature is the “Stringify” mechanic, which allows players to switch between 3D and 2D character perspectives in real-time. This not only enhances the sensory experience but also opens up unique strategic possibilities like stealth, super-speed movement, or creating distractions in a fluid manner. Compared to VALORANT, this mechanic is seen as a creative advantage, offering more freedom in combat.

Additionally, Strinova features a class system akin to Duelist, Sentinel, Support, Controller… similar to VALORANT but with deeper skill sets and strategies. The game will also incorporate various gameplay modes such as Team Arena, Escort, Demolition, Attack/Defense, Survival, and more. Notably, it includes a Signature Skill system, allowing players to interact and bond with specific characters through unique quests and interactions.

Previously, the PC version received a lot of positive feedback on Steam, and the community is eagerly awaiting the mobile version’s release. While VALORANT Mobile is also gaining traction, Strinova’s “premiere step” in Southeast Asia has many believing that this game could create a significant buzz in the mobile gaming sector by late 2025.
