The official website of Doraemon is set to launch next year, and it has just released a trailer yesterday. The trailer revisits the story set in the southern continent, titled “Doraemon the Movie 2017: Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi” (Japanese title: Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Nankyoku Kachi Kochi Daibōken).

The trailer begins with scenes of the Antarctic during the Ice Age, where the earth was covered in ice approximately 65 million years ago.
The official website of the movie has also released a wallpaper for avid fans to download. The film revolves around the adventurous journey of Nobita and his friends from class 3E. Here, the group discovers an ancient relic that holds a significant secret. The film features the character Paopao, a mysterious creature that previously appeared in the 2009 animated film version.
According to a statement from TOHO Animation, this will be the 37th animated film of Doraemon, and it is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2017.
