Last weekend, 404 Run Now continued to dominate the Vietnamese box office, achieving impressive revenue rankings. Over the three days from January 10 to 12, this Thai film grossed over 8.3 billion VND, selling 93,017 tickets.
Notably, the revenue from 404 Run Now was nearly double that of Chị Dậu, placing the film in second place on the revenue chart with over 4.5 billion VND. Meanwhile, Lời Thì Thầm Của Trái Tim ranked third with earnings of more than 2.6 billion VND. Oan Hồn Sân Phú came in fourth with over 2.4 billion VND, while Sonic 3 secured the fifth spot with around 2 billion VND.
Since its premiere on December 27, 2024, 404 Run Now has rapidly attracted a large audience and maintained its popularity at the box office. Currently, the total revenue of the film has reached approximately 88.6 billion VND. Given the highly competitive landscape, this figure is still expected to grow until it faces competition from Vietnamese films set to release during the Lunar New Year.
For those who may not know, 404 Run Now falls under the genre of black comedy, following the story of a man named Nakrob and his friends. Unlike typical genres, Nakrob buys a haunted hotel, intending to sell it at a high price. However, a twist occurs when Nakrob discovers a ghost residing in the hotel.
The film 404 Run Now is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
