The manga *Jujutsu Kaisen* features a supplemental epilogue in volume 30, released alongside volume 29 on December 25, 2024. This epilogue revolves around Nobara Kugisaki, Yuko Ozawa, Panda, and Uraume, leaving fans feeling incredibly despondent.
Nobara remains one of the three main characters of the series. Unfortunately, she faces a grim fate after her battle with Mahito. In chapter 124, she endures a devastating blow from Mahito’s curse. In the following chapters, we catch glimpses of her suffering, and she expresses her joy in becoming a sorcerer. Aware that her journey may have come to an end, she bids farewell to Yuji.
However, the appearance of Arata Nitta in chapter 127 makes her fate increasingly uncertain, as he has brought her to a critical juncture after drawing blood from her. The story only mentions her three times leading up to her fate, each time subtly implying her possible demise. Despite this, her ability to return always keeps the door open, as there has been no definitive confirmation regarding her death.

Ultimately, Nobara makes a comeback in chapter 265, playing a crucial role in the battle against Sukuna. However, this appearance does not signify the end of her character arc. In chapter 268, she receives a heartfelt message from Gojo, which mentions her in a way that opens up new goals for Nobara, although she is still somewhat vulnerable.
Nobara Encounters Her True Self in the Epilogue of Jujutsu Kaisen
Gojo Satoru has always been concerned about his students and their happiness. Compared to Megumi and Yuji, JJK has less interaction with Nobara. However, he leaves a letter for her and Megumi. This is the only time Satoru cannot meet her again, so he entrusts Yuji with the letter. Nobara starts to grapple with her feelings from the Shibuya Incident arc, where she only has 30 minutes before her fate is sealed. In Nobara’s letter, Satoru distinctly mentions that he has followed her path.
As the head mentor of the Gojo clan, Satoru has many connections. He even mentions a possible bloodline connection with Yuta, which is unknown to anyone in the Jujutsu world. Therefore, discovering the backstory of a sorcerer is particularly complex. He does this because he genuinely hopes Nobara can reconcile with her past.

Satoru believes that the message will help Nobara overcome the tough challenges ahead. This is the first time Nobara is mentioned in the story, and she is clearly not happy about it. Nobara’s external persona has nurtured her, which makes it difficult to foresee the distance that has grown between her and her two friends.
Many details about Nobara’s past remain undisclosed. She only mentions her childhood friend, Saori, who was briefly in her life. However, the final conclusion for Nobara reveals her growth. Nobara’s style reflects a fashionable and carefree demeanor, reminiscent of a younger sister. She expresses joy when her sister visits, but Nobara quickly dismisses it by stating that it’s unfortunate that the person she has longed for is no longer present.
Even though Nobara insists until the very end that she does not care about her mother, it’s evident that she can still release the burdens in her heart. We also catch a glimpse of the profound sadness in her mother’s expression when she prepares to meet her daughter.
