The Story Behind Uzi’s Hall of Legends Skin
Recently, Riot officially released the Hall of Legends (HoL) skin line featuring Uzi and renowned player Faker, who became the second character celebrated in this project. However, a major point of contention arose when the community discussed Uzi being chosen as the second character after Faker, given that Uzi’s accolades are significantly fewer compared to many others in the League of Legends scene. As the HoL skin was revealed in the in-game interface, debates and concerns quickly escalated into a heated discussion.

To elaborate, everyone is aware that in the rewards for a Battle Pass, a Hall of Legends skin will be included as part of the champion’s achievements. For Faker, these include numerous prestigious titles he has secured throughout his illustrious career. However, for Uzi, the community could hardly name any significant achievements, with most of his career marked by… failures. Furthermore, Uzi’s accolades are so few that Riot had to include many of his lesser-known achievements as part of the rewards.

The League of Legends Community Reacts to Uzi’s Hall of Legends Skin
It’s clear that Uzi represents one of the most unique cases in Hall of Legends, currently and possibly in the future. Among the elite players, there are many names with far more accolades than him, such as Bang, Ruler, Deft, and even Piglet, Doublelift, and Perkz. After witnessing Uzi’s Hall of Legends achievements, many League of Legends fans felt as though it was a “slap in the face” to the legendary player as it highlights his numerous failures throughout his career.

However, ultimately, Uzi’s inclusion in the Hall of Legends as Riot’s chosen player from the LPL could be a turning point. It is only now that fans are recognizing Uzi’s achievements or the milestones of his career, which began in 1997, but how many truly remember those? Despite this, if it were a matter of player legacy and Uzi’s significance in creating this skin line, many still feel surprised that Uzi was chosen right after Faker.
