The Elbaf arc is currently unfolding in One Piece, following the events on Egghead Island after the chaotic battle concluded. Elbaf is a mysterious land located at a corner of the New World, distinct from the remaining parts of the world, and serves as the homeland of the Giants. The journey to this kingdom requires the aid of skilled warriors known as the Giants. However, while everyone passes through the Sorrowful Sea, the Thousand Sunny, along with its six crew members, is currently docked on Egghead Island, where Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Chopper, and Usopp are being targeted by the forces of the World Government.
After a tumultuous series of events, the Straw Hat crew soon realizes that the primary objective is to acquire the Road Poneglyph and navigate safely through the area. The residents of Elbaf are not bound by the same restrictions dictated by the World Government, allowing them to interact freely with outsiders, including the Straw Hat crew. The Giants have hosted a grand feast to celebrate the arrival of the Straw Hats, marking a significant moment in their adventure.
Despite the thrilling nature of this arc, there are still a few issues in the latest chapter. Following the release of the Japanese version of Volume 111 on March 4, some errors have already been corrected in the subsequent release.

One Piece Author Fixes Errors in Volume 111
Chapter 1127 of One Piece features a reimagined scene showcasing the iconic trio of Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji launching a dual attack on Iscat in a dramatic fashion. This combined attack is reminiscent of their previous dual assaults seen in Chapter 162 of the Alabasta Saga, which was released nearly 24 years ago.
This reimagined scene is undoubtedly exciting, but Luffy’s use of Gear Fourth has sparked some confusion. Gear Fourth is a powerful transformation that Luffy employs to counter formidable foes, but it has also led to some inconsistencies in his combat style. In this context, Luffy’s use of Gear Fourth should be noted for its effectiveness, although it seems he has not utilized this form as frequently after regaining his composure.

In comparison, Iscat does not possess the strength to match Luffy’s current form. Another point of contention is that Luffy does not seem to be using Gear Fourth as often as he typically would. In fact, he appears to have abandoned Gear Fourth after regaining consciousness from a previous battle. Therefore, many fans believe that his transformation has altered, while others argue that it simply indicates a misunderstanding of his abilities. Although the transformation is primarily Gear Fourth, it is suggested that it also resembles Gear Third.
The latest chapter of the One Piece manga confirms that Luffy’s transformation is indeed Gear Third, and earlier discussions about it being a mistake were misleading. Additionally, Luffy was initially seen carrying a sword, but after the transformation, it had transformed into an axe. Luffy does not use any weapons while fighting, indicating that this axe is merely a representation of his Viking heritage. The fact that Luffy initially carried a sword is perceived as an error, as Oda intended for him to wield an axe throughout this entire arc. However, this detail has been highlighted by a prominent One Piece fan, @newworldartur, who discovered and shared it on social media.
One Piece Volume 111 has only just been released in Japan and has not yet been made available internationally. Typically, an official translated version takes several months before it is released and sold globally. In the meantime, you can read all the latest chapters on the official Manga Plus platform.
