A Man Known as “Hồng Tử” Deceives Hundreds of Young Women
On the morning of July 8, 2023 (Vietnam time), the online community in China and Vietnam was stirred up by the story of a 60-year-old man who has been accused of deceiving countless young women. This man, who goes by the alias “Hồng Tử,” rented a small apartment in Nanjing to serve as his “operations base.” There, he engaged in activities that attracted more than a thousand young women, taking advantage of their vulnerability.

This situation has escalated into a serious matter, especially as the man was reported to have filmed videos to exert pressure and manipulate young women into compliance. This has caused a chilling effect, making young men reluctant to report the matter to the authorities. Among the individuals exposed by the online community, some were well-known figures on Douyin, including fitness coaches and influencers, with some even having partners or children.

Online Community Expresses Confusion Over the Deception
If the trend of young women deceiving men through various deceptive practices is no longer surprising, this particular case has raised eyebrows. There are even “victims” who continue to meet the deceiver, despite knowing he is not who he claims to be. Reports indicate that some online community members have been “tracking” this man for up to four seasons, even going as far as to dive into his background. In short, many of the “victims” have encountered this man multiple times.

– There are even coaches whose images have been used without their knowledge.
– That guy works for my company; how does he show up here?
– I recognize several people; some of them already have families.
Meanwhile, authorities in China have advised against spreading images or information about individuals involved in this case, as doing so can lead to legal violations.
