In a previously revealed image from Transformers: The Last Knight, the leader of the Autobot team, Optimus Prime, appeared wielding the legendary Cybertronian sword.
Currently, the main adversary of Optimus Prime is Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, who has also been confirmed to have a significant role in the movie, as teased by the media. It seems that in this appearance, our Megatron will take on a more robust and battle-ready form compared to previous versions.
The first notable difference is the sword, which has a large, warrior-like design similar to a battle axe, and it also closely resembles a shield, combined with additional armor elements resembling a traditional suit of armor.
Many viewers humorously noted that Megatron’s facial features bear a striking resemblance to Ultron from Avengers: Age of Ultron. Even the color scheme has dark tones that make audiences immediately recall Ultron, who was previously defeated by the Avengers, thus leading to the comparison with Megatron.
Despite the differences, the portrayal of Megatron has garnered higher praise compared to previous iterations:

Megatron’s design in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen with tank treads on two legs.
The heavily damaged version of Megatron in Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon (this version is affectionately referred to by fans as ‘the female version’).
