As the winter anime season comes to a close, the otaku community in Japan is eagerly awaiting the upcoming releases for Spring 2025 (April – June). To identify which anime are generating the most buzz, Animate Times conducted a survey among dedicated fans to gather insights on their most anticipated titles.
The survey, which began earlier this month, has produced separate rankings for male and female respondents, as well as a general list showcasing the most exciting anime currently in production. The rankings include popular titles that are recognized worldwide, such as “Fire Force” and “My Hero Academia,” along with several other promising series set to premiere soon.
Leading the rankings is “From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman,” followed by “Wind Breaker Part 2” and “Fire Force Part 3.” Beyond these top three, there are other notable anime that are also capturing attention, such as “The Dinner Table Detective,” which is perfect for fans of mystery genres.

10. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
