According to The New York Post, in a recent interview, Mark Ruffalo expressed his surprise at his age when sharing the screen with Emma Stone in Poor Things (the film features some of the hottest scenes of 2023, according to Decider).
“I don’t know if I can actually pull this off. I’ve never done a film like Poor Things. I’m too old to be doing such hot scenes continuously. I wonder who would want to see me in such a vulnerable state?” the actor said.
The actor, known for his role as the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, admitted he felt apprehensive about the numerous steamy scenes directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. The actor was required to wear revealing costumes to portray his character more convincingly.
