Feeling empathetic towards Shizuka’s plight, Takopi decides to help her using unique abilities from his home planet.
However, the story quickly takes a dark turn when Shizuka’s pet, Chappy, falls victim to the sinister plans of Marina, a cruel being. Overwhelmed by the loss of her only friend, Shizuka seeks death, prompting Takopi to use a device to reverse time and attempt to change their fates.

This anime adaptation is produced by studio ENISHIYA, directed by Shinya Iino, known for his work on the acclaimed series Dr. Stone. The opening theme song titled “Happy Lucky Chappy” is performed by Ano, while the ending theme is “Glass no Sen” by Tele.
The soundtrack is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa, who previously worked on Mushoku Tensei and Land of the Lustrous.
