On July 10th, Nicola Peltz Beckham took to Instagram to share a series of photos with Harper Seven just before her 12th birthday (July 11th).
Among the images, the most striking was one showcasing their matching tattoos. Nicola Peltz has a small tattoo on her wrist, while Harper Seven’s tattoo is positioned on her right shoulder.
“Happy birthday to my sister Harper Seven. You are the most wonderful girl. I’m so lucky to have you in my life. I love you more than you know. We will always be together,” the actress wrote.

The post attracted hundreds of thousands of likes. Many netizens found the moments shared between the two sisters endearing, highlighting the strong bond within the Beckham family.
However, some individuals expressed criticism regarding the tattoo images. Several commenters questioned the appropriateness of a 12-year-old having a tattoo. They argued that it’s inappropriate for such a young girl to be tattooed, suggesting that Nicola’s display of the tattoo on her younger sister was not suitable.
“Is this appropriate? A 12-year-old shouldn’t have tattoos,” one commenter wrote. Others echoed sentiments like, “Why show off a tattoo on a child?” and “This is not suitable for a girl her age,” expressing their disapproval of the images.
Nicola Peltz remained silent in response to these critiques. However, according to Daily Mail, Harper Seven’s tattoo is reportedly a temporary one.
Prior to this, Harper Seven had also been a topic of controversy during her early birthday party at a famous London department store, Harrods.
Images shared by Victoria Beckham on July 8th featured her youngest daughter wearing a two-tone purple silk dress from her mother’s fashion brand.
Many netizens commented that the dress seemed inappropriate for Harper’s age, suggesting that it looked more like something an adult would wear.
