Ruler “Proud” as Gen.G Maintains Winning Streak
As of now, Gen.G is on an impressive winning streak, having won 15 consecutive matches without any team able to “shut down” this achievement ahead of the MSI 2024 tournament. Meanwhile, the individual achievements of the players are also noteworthy as they lead in critical statistics regarding their positions. Additionally, Chovy recently achieved his second pentakill in his career and the first for this team in the 2025 Regular Season. However, this has led to Ruler feeling a bit “jealous”.

According to Ruler’s statement during the post-match interview: “I am envious of Chovy’s pentakill. Just a few days ago, my pentakill was overshadowed by his. When Chovy mentioned wanting a pentakill, I didn’t understand why I only wanted him to get one too, and I felt “sad” before the interview. But I’m sure next time I won’t do that in a match.”
Furthermore, Ruler also expressed that he does not feel disheartened when the team has moments of weakness and occasional losses. He shared that he felt he could lose at any time: “If I lose focus, I could make significant mistakes. Therefore, I need to always concentrate. Did we lose in game 2 or what?”

Ruler and Gen.G Ready for Future Challenges
Even without achieving a pentakill like Chovy this season, Ruler remains in a cheerful mood, often expressing his “jealousy” toward his teammate. In fact, achieving a pentakill in a major tournament like the LCK is quite rare. Therefore, Ruler feels that securing victories for Gen.G is more important than individual accolades.

Moreover, Gen.G has also received high evaluations and “gained the upper hand” against formidable opponents. Thus, Ruler’s concerns are valid, especially when they are on a winning streak but still face tough matches that require top performances from Canyon or Chovy. And since these moments can’t be replicated, Gen.G must remain vigilant.
