With the booming presence of the Internet, streamers and YouTubers are increasingly capturing a vast audience, rivaling traditional entertainment stars. Therefore, the ability to attract a large fan base, engage with anti-fans, and receive substantial donations has become a common occurrence.
One such case is Arisha, a South Korean streamer. Recently, she made waves in the online community by collecting an unprecedented amount in donations during her first livestream of the month.

In her recent broadcast, Arisha officially set a new milestone on the Afreeca TV platform by breaking records in donation amounts. Her first livestream of the month lasted a remarkable 8 hours and 8 minutes, attracting a large viewership.
Throughout her livestream, Arisha received a total of 1,062,686 “balloons” – the unit of currency for donations on Afreeca TV. At a rate of 100 won per balloon, she accumulated over 100 million won (approximately 2 billion Vietnamese dong). Moreover, Arisha also established a new record by averaging 130,533 balloons per hour during her broadcasts. This achievement can largely be attributed to her stunning looks, which have captivated her audience.

However, the actual amount Arisha received will not be the full 100 million won. It is estimated that after deducting fees and sharing with the platform, she will retain about 70% of the total donations, equating to approximately 70 million won (around 1.4 billion Vietnamese dong). Arisha remains one of the most popular streamers on Afreeca TV, having debuted in 2015. Beyond her streaming career, she has also ventured into music, releasing an MV in 2020. Despite facing mixed reviews for her music, it is undeniable that Arisha’s name has become widely recognized and celebrated.

Ultimately, it seems that with just captivating beauty, charm, and an understanding of audience engagement, female streamers can indeed secure their own revenue streams without relying solely on donations. Arisha’s case exemplifies this phenomenon.
