In the world of livestreaming, the presence of female Streamers/Vtubers is increasingly attracting attention and affection from the online community, alongside notable issues such as criticism and, in particular, “body shaming.”
Recently, a well-known Vtuber with a striking appearance did not hesitate to voice her feelings about being criticized by viewers for her looks during a livestream session.

The young woman is considered one of the most beloved figures in the online community, captivating audiences with her engaging presentation style. She candidly shared on her personal page that she had to endure harsh comments regarding her appearance. This situation also resonates with other professional peers in her field.
“Normalizing the idea that Vtubers/streamers can be fat or not look like their model is an issue that creates pride rather than shame,” she stated.
“Streaming can be a tough business. When I opened my camera, I felt the pressure of body shaming, and many streamers face similar pressure,” she continued.
“I sometimes opened up about how I feel being labeled as a role model in terms of body image. I often feel that people don’t see themselves in me, and then they start judging my appearance,” she added.
“The reason for this post is that it’s not just about me. Many friends I stream with are also under similar scrutiny, and while I can handle comments, it’s still disheartening,” she wrote in a lengthy post.

According to her, when she first started livestreaming, she didn’t want to show her face at all, but after receiving overwhelming support from fans, she decided to turn on the camera so viewers could see her true self. However, not all reactions were positive. Negative comments, often harsh, targeted her body and appearance, surfaced during her broadcasts.
The post by the female Vtuber has drawn significant attention from the online community, especially among her fans.
Many individuals have spoken out in support of her, condemning body shaming and calling for everyone to work together to build a healthier online environment, free from discrimination based on appearance.

The female Vtuber hopes that in the future, those in her profession will receive the respect and recognition they deserve, rather than facing harsh judgment based on external factors.
