On August 6, Spanish media reported that Daniel Sancho Bronchalo (29 years old), son of the famous actor Rodolfo Sancho, has confessed to the brutal murder of his uncle, Edwin Arrieta Arteaga (44 years old).
According to sources, the suspect and Edwin traveled together to Thailand for vacation in July. During a dispute with his uncle, Daniel reportedly became enraged and violently attacked him, leading to Edwin sustaining severe injuries. Afterward, Rodolfo Sancho’s son allegedly dismembered the victim’s body and disposed of the remains in several locations, including in a hotel, a trash dump, and other areas.
After committing the crime, Daniel Sancho Bronchalo acted normally at the hotel, as if nothing had happened, even attending parties and later reporting to the police about Edwin Arrieta Arteaga’s disappearance. It wasn’t long before Daniel’s criminal behavior was discovered.
A police representative revealed more about the case: “We noticed that Daniel displayed several unusual behaviors, including buying a weapon. From there, we brought Daniel in for questioning. Initially, Daniel claimed to have no connection to the death of Edwin Arrieta Arteaga, but later he started to provide conflicting information after the interrogation.”
Spanish media also reported on Daniel’s current situation. He is said to be in a state of anxiety and is becoming increasingly agitated after the recent interrogation. Meanwhile, the police are currently tracing the whereabouts of Rodolfo Sancho’s son, as they believe he may have insights into the situation.
At the same time, actor Rodolfo Sancho has also flown to Thailand. Sources indicate that the 1975-born actor is reportedly devastated upon learning about his son’s involvement in the murder.
