Even as audiences have become more accepting of content labeled “adult,” hot scenes remain a contentious subject. Looking back at hot scenes in contemporary Vietnamese cinema, few realize that such moments have existed since the 1980s. The first actress to perform a hot scene on screen was actress Hồng Minh in the film “Vệt Sáng Ngược” (1980).
In the film, actress Hồng Minh plays the love interest of the character Bằng (portrayed by Trần Nhưỡng).
