The Legend of DOTA 2 Faces a Tough Challenge in League of Legends
In the Esports scene, both historically and presently, it is not uncommon for players to become legends, icons, and renowned figures that transcend their game titles. Names like Faker and Dendi are just a few examples. Recently, the legendary former DOTA 2 player and the first champion of The International, Dendi, attempted a transition to League of Legends, leaving the DOTA 2 community in shock.

According to reports, Dendi faced a daunting challenge by attempting to climb 1000 MMR (Matchmaking Rating) within ten days to regain his competitive edge in DOTA 2. However, he fell short, only managing to gain 544 MMR points. After removing DOTA 2 from his stream channel, he returned to Riot Games’ title, which is still often viewed as the “rival” of DOTA 2.

The Community Reacts as Dendi Ventures into League of Legends
Although he has not participated in any show matches or events, and Dendi is still at the beginning of his professional journey, the League of Legends community and DOTA 2 fans have often found themselves in heated debates regarding the careers of these two legends. Thus, when Dendi unexpectedly entered League of Legends, many fans were eagerly anticipating the day when “my brother” (a nickname many Vietnamese Esports fans have given Dendi) would challenge Faker on the ranked ladder.

Of course, there may be a possibility that Dendi’s experience in League of Legends will be brief. However, the moment both legends from the Esports community engage in the same game together is a rare and significant event that not many fans anticipate. After all, in the past, Dendi did have a brief stint in League of Legends when Faker had not yet made his debut.
