Flying Nimbus
Most fans of our beloved series know that Son Goku has always been able to ride the Flying Nimbus since he was a child. However, as he grew older, Goku’s strength, along with his friends, became so great that they could easily travel without the need for any special tools or vehicles. Nevertheless, in the early stages of Dragon Ball, our hero Son Goku did indeed use his Flying Nimbus to fly and had to come down to the ground occasionally. Since then, the use of the Flying Nimbus has not been frequently mentioned.
Hair Never Changes Length
According to Vegeta’s explanation (the Prince of Saiyans), a pure-blooded Saiyan’s hair does not change throughout their lifetime. This was especially evident during the battle with Nappa, where Goku retained his distinct hairstyle. To elaborate, Vegeta stated that the age of a Saiyan does not correspond to that of a human, but rather that they remain in their prime for a very long time, preserving their youthful appearance until death with their hair remaining unchanged.
Ability to Heal Others
This healing ability was first prominently displayed when Goku was still a child, but during this time, the energy techniques of various opponents were developed quite clearly and were not just limited to brute strength as Goku matured. If you pay attention, you will see that Goku’s healing power primarily manifests in a very obvious way (although not fully developed). The explanation for this is that Son Goku possesses a unique innate talent for martial arts, allowing him to learn faster than most.
Ability to Revive
Dende (also known as the Dragon God) is a Namekian child with the ability to heal and revive others. In the Dragon Ball Z series, there were times when our Goku utilized energy and strength from his Super Saiyan transformation to revive others, even sacrificing himself for other characters at times… In the story, we also see Goku granting Frieza energy to escape from Planet Namek, thus if developed further, this ability could also be seen as a form of revival for others.
Ability to Sense Others
To facilitate communication between characters, even from a distance, the author Akira Toriyama has granted Son Goku the ability to sense others’ ki. Other characters have also learned this ability, and Goku has developed it to a point where he can sense the thoughts of others. During the Namek saga, Goku was able to sense everything in the battle against Krillin without needing to rely heavily on others.
Telekinesis
Telekinesis is another ability that appears frequently in Son Goku’s early stages, allowing him to manipulate objects from a distance. Although this ability is not as strong as that of other characters, Goku also utilizes it to retrieve items and throw them at enemies. This is particularly evident during the Cell saga when he uses telekinesis to lift a large boulder, turning it into a formidable weapon against his foes.
Supernatural Strength
Supernatural strength is another notable ability that emerges throughout Dragon Ball. For instance, when Cell utilized this power to lift a massive boulder, he created a formidable barrier. Son Goku also demonstrated this power when he used supernatural strength to lift heavy objects during critical battles, showcasing his immense abilities during confrontations.
Insatiable Appetite
Not just Son Goku, but nearly all characters who belong to the Saiyan race tend to have an insatiable appetite. They can consume enormous amounts of food, often exceeding their body weight several times. As a child, Goku once ate an entire banquet of food meant for larger creatures without any issues.
