In previous articles, we have delved into some images of the characters that will appear in the blockbuster Transformers: The Last Knight such as Bumblebee, Drift, and Megatron. Today, director Michael Bay has released additional images revealing that Transformers: The Last Knight will incorporate elements related to the medieval era.
Specifically, the fifth installment of the Transformers series will have a connection to a storyline about King Arthur. If you have ever heard the tales and watched animated films related to Western mythology, you will likely know a bit about how Arthur was a legendary figure who was exalted by the people to become king. This is essentially the legend of King Arthur, and this story will have some relevance to Transformers: The Last Knight.
In some images shared by director Michael Bay, we can see scenes shot in the Skye Highlands of Scotland. Since these are merely introductory scenes in the film, it is certain that the main characters, such as Mark Wahlberg, will not appear in these shots.
According to some passionate fans, the storyline in the movie may involve King Arthur along with the knights in a quest to find the legendary sword Excalibur, where they may encounter formidable alien robots. Additionally, this legendary sword may also have some ties to the alien robot warriors.
Transformers: The Last Knight is set to be released on June 23, 2017.
