According to reports, the male actor was once a top star in the Chinese entertainment industry in the 1990s, but Ha Gia Kinh revealed that during his peak, the actor’s salary was quite low.
“When the market collapsed, I was left with only a few hundred HKD a month from acting,” Ha Gia Kinh shared.
His role as “Chiu Chieu” in the film Bao Thanh Thien (1993) is particularly noted, as it became an iconic character in the Chinese film industry. “The role of Chiu Chieu is the best-known image that has remained throughout the years,” he stated.
In 2014, Ha Gia Kinh transitioned from acting. The actor invested 30 million HKD (approximately 3.8 million USD) to start a business in the food manufacturing sector. Although the initial steps were risky, he has managed to meet market demand effectively. Ha Gia Kinh and his team have established the Kinh Gia Trang enterprise, covering more than 54,000 square meters surrounded by the vast mountainous area in Quang Dong.
This decision has significantly improved the actor’s financial situation, and currently, Ha Gia Kinh has a net worth of over 17 million USD. In addition to his success, his company has grown significantly, providing hundreds of jobs for workers. His food manufacturing enterprise has been recognized by the government of Quang Dong as a AAA national-level tourist facility.
