Naruto Shippuden is an anime with a well-crafted storyline written by Masashi Kishimoto; however, it does contain some plot holes that are not easily noticeable. In this article, we will discuss one such inconsistency related to Uchiha Madara.
When Uchiha Madara appeared in the Fourth Great Ninja War after being resurrected by Kabuto using Edo Tensei (Reanimation Jutsu), this Uchiha was undeniably in an incredibly powerful state. It could even be said that Uchiha Madara was at an optimal level never seen before. Not only did he possess the Rinnegan, but he also had a formidable foundation of abilities. Madara could only be defeated through sealing techniques.
To demonstrate his overwhelming strength, Madara challenged the five Kage, a group consisting of exceptionally powerful ninja.
However, this battle had a significant flaw that was not immediately apparent. So what was this flaw?
Why was Madara able to summon Susanoo during this battle? Have you ever considered this intriguing question?
It’s essential to remember that Madara possessed two Rinnegan, not the Mangekyō Sharingan. And of course, the Rinnegan cannot be transformed into the Mangekyō Sharingan for the purpose of utilizing its abilities. Consequently, we can only utilize the techniques associated with the Rinnegan, which do not include Susanoo. This is because Susanoo is a unique technique exclusive to those who possess the Mangekyō Sharingan.
Furthermore, if a user with Rinnegan could harness the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan, then Pain would certainly have the ability to access Susanoo as well. However, the Rinnegan of Nagato was originally Madara’s (Madara had implanted his Rinnegan into Nagato’s eyes after extracting them), so it would be reasonable to assume that if the above scenario were to occur, it could also involve Madara’s Mangekyō Sharingan.
Nonetheless, it appears that the creator Masashi Kishimoto decided to overlook this plot inconsistency to make Madara even more formidable. Or perhaps the intention was to ensure that the Kage would have no chance of defeating this powerful Uchiha.
