VCS Stars Discuss Rotation Policies
In the 2025 season, a formula is being widely applied, specifically team rotation. According to reports, many teams have rotated their lineup after a series of defeats or have tried various rotations to find a way to improve. Teams are moving players from the Challengers League up and sending their main roster down. Although this method has yet to yield success, it indicates that teams are struggling to stabilize their lineups. Notably, the VCS team MVKE is currently implementing this strategy with their roster featuring Shogun and Sty1e.

As of now, MVKE’s achievements at the LCP 2025 Mid-Seasons are still somewhat modest. They lost to a team from PCS (CBTC Flying Oyster) and barely avoided being at the bottom against Chiefs Esports Club. In a recent press conference, Sty1e shared his thoughts on MVKE’s rotation policy and its impact on his position.
“Rotation is indeed a challenging process, but both Shogun and I have had ample time to practice, and I strive to perform on stage with the highest determination to bring victories to the team. Therefore, I think the rotation is more flexible and hasn’t negatively affected us,” Sty1e stated.

In reality, both Sty1e and Shogun have managed to maintain relatively stable performances when given the opportunity. However, many opinions suggest that the rotation issue is a common situation among teams. Furthermore, Kati’s mid-lane position has also become a topic of concern. This team still hasn’t shown a consistent performance level, which is crucial in the current stage when teams in the PCS are nearly equal and any misstep could result in costly defeats.
VCS Teams at LCP 2025 Mid-Seasons Facing Challenges
Unlike the early stages of the season, during this current phase, there isn’t a single VCS team that is truly breaking through the rankings or establishing a stable fan base. Meanwhile, CFO continues to perform well, while TALON is still managing to control their situation.

If there are no significant setbacks, the chances of VCS remaining in MSI 2025 are quite high. Moreover, the prospects for the 2025 World Championship could also depend on whether any teams manage to recover and excel in the final stages of the season.
