Hello Café – The Game Café Management Experience from VNG
On April 22, 2024, VNG officially launched a mobile game simulating café management called Hello Café. This launch marks a new milestone in the casual gaming genre for players who enjoy creativity and interaction. Just yesterday (June 1, 2025), the operating team of Hello Café officially announced the shutdown of the game. According to the notice, the maintenance and shutdown period will begin at 9:00 AM on June 11, with the game officially shutting down on September 3 – marking approximately 1 year and 4 months since its launch. Hello Café will also be removed from the App Store and Google Play on the same day.
In the announcement, the game representatives expressed their heartfelt thanks to the “Café Owners” who have accompanied them during this journey. Alongside the shutdown, the development team will also offer a special gift to players during this time. Although the reasons for the shutdown may vary, this gesture shows the sentiment and culture of gratitude that VNG maintains towards the community that has created the “spirit” of Hello Café.
With the launch of Hello Café, VNG has closed a potential gap in the increasingly competitive casual gaming market. While it may not have the longevity, the game still leaves a significant mark in terms of community building and player experience.
