Recently, Toyotaro confirmed that the Dragon Ball Super manga will continue to portray battles that are not just a mere return to the original series.
Moreover, Toyotaro shared that among all the battles, the most significant one for him is Goku’s epic fight.
The iconic moment illustrated by creator Akira Toriyama during the final battle between Goku and Majin Buu (also known as Kid Buu) is regarded as one of the best fights in Dragon Ball history. He explained that the moment when everyone joins hands to share their energy with Goku to create the Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb) is a significant moment in both manga and anime history.
During the battle against Kid Buu, Goku and Vegeta confront him at the Kaioshin realm. Vegeta suggests to Goku that he should use the Genki Dama to defeat Kid Buu. Initially, Vegeta and Goku attempt to convince the inhabitants of Earth to lend their energy by raising both arms, but many people are reluctant because they don’t know who Goku and Vegeta are.
In the moment where Earthlings are hesitant to respond to Goku’s call, they refuse to lend their energy, making it difficult for him to gather enough for the Genki Dama. However, Mr. Satan steps forward and encourages everyone to join in and raise their hands to share their energy with Goku.
Goku then utilizes the Spirit Bomb with overwhelming power to ultimately defeat Majin Buu.
