Young Star from VCS, LazyFeel, Breaks Ground in LCK with “Outsider” Role
Recently, the community was thrilled by the news that VCS stars LazyFeel and Chika will join DRX Academy. If anyone thought that one of these two players wouldn’t make it to the LCK, it would be a huge surprise. Especially since the LCK has not had any foreign players for over 11 years since its official inception. However, LazyFeel is set to make history.
According to reports, LazyFeel will be the first foreign player in the history of League of Legends to participate in an official match in the highest level of Korean League of Legends, the LCK. Additionally, he will be achieving this milestone in an incredibly short amount of time. Specifically, just yesterday, January 14 (Vietnam time), he debuted in the DRX Challengers jersey.
Through this achievement, LazyFeel also becomes one of the fastest players to transition from the Challengers to the main roster in LCK history. If we don’t count players that joined through the usual transfer method, even superstars like Gumayusi and Oner couldn’t ascend that quickly.
The VCS Community Celebrates LazyFeel’s Unprecedented Achievement
On various platforms, the excitement is palpable not only from LCK fans but also from the VCS community, which cannot hide its enthusiasm. After all, it’s not just any superstar from regions like the LPL or LEC, but VCS is now the first region to provide a foreign player to compete in the LCK.
