Recently, Zenless Zone Zero, the latest immersive game from miHoYo, introduced a new character named Pulchra Fellini. This character is a female member of the Sons of Calydon faction and is classified as an A-rank character with a striking appearance. Pulchra Fellini is set to make her debut on March 12 in the upcoming version 1.6.
As usual, to promote a new character, Zenless Zone Zero has released an official promotional video on its YouTube channel. This time, Pulchra Fellini’s video did not escape controversy. Recently, the video has been uploaded and includes versions in multiple languages. However, the Korean version of this video was temporarily taken down due to a violation of “sexual content,” attributed to overly sensitive content.
What is the Controversy Behind the New Zenless Zone Zero Video?
In essence, the promotional video featuring Pulchra Fellini depicts her enjoying a massage after a long day at work. Throughout the video, Pulchra is shown peacefully relaxing in the spa, allowing the massage therapist to “work their magic.” However, the sounds emitted by this character, combined with some suggestive visuals, have made many viewers feel uncomfortable.
As a result, the Korean version of this video faced immediate removal. Meanwhile, the English version and other language versions are still available for viewing. This action has sparked significant debate within the gaming community. On one hand, many feel that the removal was justified, arguing that the video’s content is too suggestive and not appropriate for the gaming audience. On the other hand, some believe the response to the “sexual content” claim was excessive, viewing the situation as an overreaction compared to general content standards.
