Zeus “is on fire” as fans share their feelings about Faker
After winning the First Stand 2025 championship, Zeus is increasingly rising in popularity. The player from Hanwha Life Esports has been touted as a potential successor to Faker, at least currently, he remains stable and could potentially win more titles, both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, some fans have even suggested that Zeus could surpass Faker, even dubbing him the G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time) of the League of Legends realm. However, Zeus does not think so.

In a recent interview, Zeus shared his thoughts candidly, but he also “cooled the water” in the eyes of fans. Specifically, Zeus stated: “I have had an incredible career up to now. I still have many things to do. As for being ‘the next Faker’, honestly, I don’t think I can surpass Faker. I just focus on doing my best at every moment.”

Zeus’s recognition of Faker and fans’ expectations “are tough but true”
Zeus’s sharing is very genuine, as he clearly understands the career path and the legacy of Faker, indicating that he is just at the beginning stages. Furthermore, considering the impact of the team, it is clear: T1 might decide to part ways with any player who no longer wishes to remain close to the team, but they will always seek ways to keep Faker.

Moreover, the First Stand 2025 is just one tournament that is considered a starting point for the main event, with time and the stakes being quite low. Therefore, if Zeus truly wants to become a legendary figure in League of Legends, beyond all titles, the 2004-born superstar still needs to focus on his impact. And in terms of achievements, Zeus has yet to realize a significant milestone in his career.
