After concluding the first season of the Valhalla arc, the story of Tokyo Revengers continues by diving into the events that unfold after Takemichi alters the timeline within the conflict between the Tokyo Manji gang and Valhalla.
So, what does Episode 1 of Tokyo Revengers Season 2 have in store?
1. Takemichi Faces Danger?

After changing the timeline, Takemichi is confronted with harsh realities. At the beginning of Episode 1, he finds himself tied up and lying under the gun of Kisaki.
What’s more troubling is that he cannot rely on his past knowledge because Kisaki Tetta is the one orchestrating everything. However, there’s a twist: when Kisaki is about to shoot Takemichi, he seems to have lost his composure and refers to him as “my hero.”
2. Takemichi’s Encounter with Kazutora
However, what Takemichi doesn’t realize is that there’s someone who has been secretly helping him, and that person turns out to be Kazutora.
3. Kazutora Explains the Crisis Faced by Tokyo Manji Members
However, Mikey’s transformation also impacts many others, especially the core members of Tokyo Manji. While Mitsuya disappears, Pah-chin and Peh-yan are killed when Takemichi is captured. Chifuyu himself has been affected since he was manipulated by Kisaki against Hinata’s welfare.
4. Takemichi Gets Caught by Naoto
Unexpectedly, instead of a warm greeting, Naoto grabs Takemichi and brings him to the police station regarding a case related to the murder of his sister.
5. Naoto Explains the Changes in the Timeline Post-Valhalla
Despite the fact that Takemichi is caught by Kisaki when he tries to save Hina, it turns out that his actions inadvertently cause harm to his beloved girl. This revelation hits Naoto hard as he realizes that Takemichi’s involvement has caused irreversible damage. In the second video Takemichi views, he sees himself being devastated as he fails to protect Hinata, who becomes the target of violence.
Naoto explains that the changes in the timeline due to Takemichi’s actions “activated” events in the past, leading to a shift in the future as well. However, the overall context of the police remains largely unchanged, as Naoto is still a police officer, and Takemichi’s girlfriend is still targeted for violence on the same day as before. However, the significant change is that Takemichi has become a crucial figure in his gang.
After this, the two agree to team up once again to bring Takemichi back to the past.
6. Takemichi Returns to the Past
He continues to roll strikes three times in a row, much to Hinata’s delight, who always encourages him. However, when Takemichi finally throws a perfect strike for the fourth time, he notices that the person next to him has also achieved the same result. That person is Hakkai, along with his sister Yuzuha.
