Recently, an unusual incident was reported in Japan, where actor Takahashi Kenichi (45 years old) was arrested by the police for attempting to break into a junior high school to steal female student uniforms.
Surprisingly, after being apprehended, Takahashi Kenichi admitted to his crime. Notably, according to the actor’s own statements, he had been stealing female student uniforms for the past 20 years, with a total of more than 1,000 outfits.
In response to the question of why he engaged in such behavior, Takahashi Kenichi stated that stealing uniforms gave him a sense of relief and peace. However, after his arrest, he also expressed regret about his actions. His next court hearing is scheduled for June 24.
Currently, Takahashi Kenichi has posted a bail amount of more than 2 million yen (over 400 million VND) to secure his release. At the actor’s home, police discovered more than 600 stolen female student uniforms, which were hidden in 70 plastic bags.
This actor revealed that he had previously stolen from more than 50 junior high schools to collect the uniforms. Takahashi Kenichi often took advantage of situations when students were outside during physical education classes to sneak into changing rooms and steal the outfits.
In reality, the act of stealing student uniforms by Takahashi Kenichi has been portrayed quite frequently in Japanese manga, especially in comedy or ecchi genres. However, in the context of the real world, such actions are subject to severe legal consequences and should not be trivialized as mere entertainment.
