According to newly received information, a troubling incident has occurred on a United Airlines flight to Chicago involving flight attendant Amanda Stevens. While on the flight, Stevens was reportedly asked to leave due to her outfit, which was deemed “inappropriate” by the male flight attendant. The outfit included a black top adorned with a reversed American flag design, as shown in the image below. This very top made the flight attendant feel… “uncomfortable” and led to a request for Stevens to disembark the plane.
Stevens’ shirt with the reversed flag design made the flight attendant feel uncomfortable, leading this flight attendant to demand she turn her shirt inside out to cover the image.
Amanda Stevens later had to comply with the request from the flight attendant by turning her shirt inside out to cover the image of the reversed American flag. However, she still was not allowed to remain on the flight due to the flight attendant’s insistence that her shirt featuring the Black Panther (a character from Marvel Comics) was also inappropriate.
Following this incident, Amanda Stevens continued to argue with the airline staff, demanding that this flight attendant should not have required her to change her attire in such a demeaning manner. Ultimately, Stevens was removed from the plane and had to wait for the next flight.
The flight attendant claimed that Stevens’ Black Panther shirt was not suitable… despite the fact that everyone knows this is a character from Marvel!
