15-Year Anniversary of Naruto: A New Perspective on Our Favorite Ninja

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Naruto franchise, Ikemoto has introduced us to a fresh perspective, depicting Naruto as “The Present-Day Ninja.” Although this image may not be the official design, it presents an intriguing view of how Naruto might appear in his older years.
In this unique artwork, Naruto is depicted with slightly longer hair, a sign of age, surrounded by mystical creatures. The presence of a dragon and a cat replaces the iconic representation of Kurama. Kurama’s golden eyes add an element of somberness to the image, hinting at the changes and losses experienced throughout Naruto’s life.
Moreover, this illustration prompts us to reflect on the paths and developments that characters have undergone throughout the series. Imagining Naruto as a wise sage, with an abundance of stories and battles to share, opens up new possibilities for exploration in future narratives, whether in Boruto’s journeys or even in new generations that may emerge.
