Lee Christmas, a character introduced in the very first Expendables film, is a skilled SAS soldier known for his combat abilities and knife skills. In discussing his character’s evolution, Statham shared, “Initially, we felt that Lee Christmas had some regrets about his past. Due to various circumstances, he feels responsible for certain events that have occurred, and he believes he needs to make amends. Thus, we have brought Lee into this journey.”
The question of whether Lee Christmas will officially replace Barney Ross as the head of the Expendables remains unanswered. However, Statham confirmed that Lee’s role in this film is significant. The new installment focuses heavily on the dynamics and interactions between the characters. Lee is expected to act as a “glue” that connects all the characters in the film. From the trailer, Lee appears in nearly every scene, suggesting that this chapter will showcase many high-octane action sequences featuring him prominently.
Sylvester Stallone
