Among the many actors in Hollywood, Chris Hemsworth consistently ranks at the top of the list. Although he has participated in numerous well-known projects and showcased his skills in various capacities, he is best known for his role as Thor in Marvel’s Avengers films. Before becoming a shining star in Hollywood, Chris Hemsworth worked at a plumbing center, where his main job involved lifting heavy equipment for women.
“You wouldn’t believe it. Plumbing was my job. I just remember being so bored. I would sit in the work truck after work hours and think about how I could make $10. After that, I thought about what I wanted to do, which was acting and everything else I wanted to pursue,” Hemsworth revealed in an interview with WIRED.

Like many other actors, the path that Chris Hemsworth took to reach his acting career was not easy. He began his acting career in 2004 when he joined the series “Home and Away,” but faced numerous rejections. It wasn’t long until he landed the role of Kim Hyde, during which Chris had to take on various jobs to cover his expenses before he landed a role in “Home and Away.”
After that, he had the opportunity to audition for a supporting role in the famous “Star Trek” series in 2009, along with several other smaller films. Chris once shared with the media that during this period, he faced serious financial difficulties and struggled to cover his living expenses. It was a tough time for him until he was cast in the film “Ca$h,” marking the beginning of his career’s upward trajectory when Marvel Studios took notice of him. At that time, the press referred to him as “the unknown actor chosen for the role of Thor,” highlighting how little recognition he had for his previous roles. His life changed dramatically after he was cast as Thor in the film “Thor” (2011).
