After many adaptations across various countries, the Harry Potter film series has been “remade” in Vietnam. This version, featuring “local adaptations,” has stirred up significant buzz on social media in recent times, as its aesthetics rival any previous adaptations.
Recently, a website named AIhugART has created a Vietnamese version of Harry Potter characters, aided by artificial intelligence technology. Not only has there been a change in appearance (which still feels familiar), but the characters have also been given Vietnamese names, which has delighted viewers immensely.
The main character Harry Potter in the Vietnamese version has a unique charm, lacking the typical look of a “survivor boy” famous for his resilience. He will surely find it challenging to surpass a fully male ensemble, especially the females right after!
Hermione’s version is much more beautiful compared to the original character in the book. The female lead in the Harry Potter series is quite modern yet retains a certain level of intelligence, certainly a great embodiment of wisdom.
Ron Weasley in the Vietnamese version has lost his freckles and has a messy appearance, replacing his look with a more polished charm than his original character.
Professor Dumbledore still retains a majestic demeanor, with his deep gaze reflecting wisdom and sometimes even vulnerability in the film adaptation.
Umbridge’s character looks quite elegant in her pink outfit, yet struggles to match the essence of her character from Harry Potter.

Fortunately for Neville Longbottom in the Vietnamese version, he still embodies bravery, yet carries a more handsome look than his Hollywood counterpart. This version seems to reflect the character’s potential, making it a fun watch!
Luna is still very beautiful, a bit quirky but lacks a touch of charm and charisma. Instead of being the oddball, she has a “mysterious charm” that adds depth to her character!
Finally, we also have a beautiful version of Ginny that rivals anyone in her depiction from the books. However, she has a hint of Hermione’s traits, so Harry Potter must be cautious!
Draco Malfoy still appears quite handsome but lacks the mischievousness that his character is known for, making it difficult to see him as the typical rival of Harry Potter.
Without a doubt, Cedric is undoubtedly the most handsome male student in Harry Potter. If Hollywood has Robert Pattinson, then the Vietnamese version also offers a charming counterpart.
Finally, we have the Weasley twins. The Vietnamese version presents a more humorous touch compared to the Hollywood version, but this duo will surely remain the “comedy duo,” bringing joy to the film.
