This March, the super assassin John Wick is officially returning to the big screen after nearly four years of absence. Following the events of the third film, this time, “The Man” will have to face off against the world’s most dangerous assassins to reclaim peace and freedom for himself.
Recently, Lionsgate has released the official trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4, showcasing intense battles and the escalating conflict between Wick and the various “professionals” around him.
One of the most notable details is that Wick will return to confront the Elder – the only member of the High Table assassin society seen in the third film, Parabellum. Previously, the Elder had also offered Wick a chance at freedom, but with the condition that he must kill Winston and bring back his ring.
However, Wick did not fulfill the task; instead, he allied with Winston to oppose the High Table. Ultimately, it was the very person Wick considered to be his mentor who inadvertently led him to the final confrontation with the entire assassin world in the upcoming film.
Continuing the narrative tradition of the previous three films, this time, Wick will also have a new four-legged companion. This companion is a German Shepherd, who will serve as his loyal partner in the intense battles against the world’s top assassins.
Keanu Reeves will continue to reprise his iconic role as John Wick. Additionally, this film features contributions from many major stars, including Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Scott Adkins, Hiroyuki Sanada, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Shamier Anderson, and George Georgiou.
John Wick: Chapter 4 is set to officially premiere on March 24 this year.
