In 2024, the global gaming community witnessed the emergence of several high-quality MMO titles.
Notably, we must highlight the remarkable success of Stalker 2. However, in 2025, new titles are already showing even greater promise for this genre. All eyes are on the unveiling of a single name.
The title in question is Pioner – an MMO FPS game with a narrative-driven approach, set in a richly detailed environment.
Though not yet officially released, it has been introduced through several short trailers, along with limited images. Pioner has quickly captured the attention of many gamers. The game promises to deliver a vast open world experience on a post-apocalyptic island, covering an impressive area of 50 km², divided into two distinct zones. The left side of the island will focus on PvE content, while the right side will be dedicated to PvP engagements.
Simultaneously, there will only be one area in the game where PvP will be actively implemented. This area is known as Shadowlands. Shadowlands will also serve as an exploration zone, where players will face various challenges and strive to obtain valuable loot. The island will be a dangerous environment filled with factions and formidable mutated creatures. To survive, players will need to gather resources, scavenge for equipment, and utilize crafting mechanics within the game.
As of now, Pioner has received over 100,000 wishlist entries on Steam. The Pioner Steam page is currently active, and the game is set to launch in 2025.
