6. Dragon Ball Z: Saiyan and Namek Saga
Age 761: Raditz arrives on Earth to find his brother. Goku and Raditz are killed by Piccolo. Vegeta and Nappa land on Earth. Gohan begins his survival training.
Age 762, March:
-Krillin, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Yajirobe train with Kami in the afterlife.
-Goku travels to King Kai’s planet.
-Goku receives a monkey named Bubbles.
-Goku is revived after dying in training with King Kai.
-Vegeta and Nappa arrive on Earth. The Z Fighters battle the Saibamen, resulting in Yamcha’s death. Krillin defeats 3 Saibamen. Gohan, Piccolo, Tien, Krillin, and Chiaotzu must face Nappa. Chiaotzu, Tien, and Piccolo are killed. Goku arrives and defeats Nappa, but later, he is killed by Vegeta. The battle between Goku and Vegeta ends in a draw. Vegeta leaves Earth to train.
-A robot created by Dr. Gero is sent to collect Goku, Vegeta, and others’ genes, eventually leading to Cell’s creation.
-Kami’s spaceship is repaired.
-Bulma learns the Namekian language and travels with Gohan and Krillin to Namek.
-Vegeta travels to Planet Frieza.
Vegeta’s power level continues to rise. Vegeta arrives on Namek.
-Vegeta, Cui, Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan all arrive on Namek at the same time. Goku also travels to Namek.
-Vegeta collects 1 Dragon Ball from Namek’s villages. Zarbon fights Vegeta and takes him to his ship for interrogation. Vegeta defeats Frieza and collects 5 Dragon Balls.
-Vegeta battles Zarbon for the second time and defeats him. Krillin and Gohan receive potential unlocks from Guru. The Ginyu Force arrives under Frieza’s command.
-Goku completes his training and arrives on Namek, fighting Jeice, Burter, Recoome, but he spares them. Later, Vegeta kills Jeice, Burter, and Recoome. Captain Ginyu switches bodies with a frog after a failed exchange. Dende uses the Dragon Balls to revive and bring Piccolo back to Namek, while Guru dies from heart problems.
-The battle with Frieza begins. Dende, Vegeta, and Krillin are killed by him. Goku becomes the first to transform into a Super Saiyan. Mr. Popo gathers Dragon Balls on Earth to restore the lives lost to Frieza. Frieza is defeated, Namek explodes, and Guru is revived but dies due to old age.
7. Android and Cell Saga
Age 763: Krillin is revived by the Dragon Balls of Namek. Vegeta is revived on Earth.
-Tien and Chiaotzu are revived by the Dragon Balls of Namek. The surviving Namekians are revived on a new planet.
-Cell is transported to the present by Trunks’ time machine.
-Cyborg Frieza is fully completed.
Age 764:
-Future Trunks appears. He kills Frieza and his father, King Cold.
-Goku returns to Earth. The Z Fighters are warned about the appearance of 2 Androids in 3 years; Goku is diagnosed with a heart virus.
-In the parallel universe of Future Trunks: Goku returns to Earth and kills Frieza and King Cold.
-Vegeta trains in a gravity chamber to become a Super Saiyan.
Age 766: Trunks is born. In the parallel universe of Future Trunks: Goku dies from the heart virus.
Age 767:
-Android 19 and Android 20 (Dr. Gero) appear. Goku fights #19 but suffers from the heart virus during the battle. Vegeta appears and kills #19. Piccolo fights #20, and Future Trunks arrives to help. Android 17, Android 18, and Android 16 are activated. #17 destroys the control device and kills Dr. Gero. The Z Fighters battle Androids 17 and 18. Cell appears the same day. Piccolo and Kami fuse and become the strongest being. Dr. Gero’s lab is destroyed by Krillin and Trunks.
-In the parallel universe of Future Trunks: Androids 17 and 18 (weaker than the current ones) are extremely evil, killing all the Z Fighters and Kami while fusing with Piccolo, who also dies, leaving the Dragon Balls useless.
-Goku’s illness is cured with Future Trunks’ medicine.
-Vegeta and Future Trunks enter the Room of Spirit and Time to train and surpass the Super Saiyan level.
-Piccolo battles Android 17 until Cell appears. Cell absorbs Android 17 and becomes his perfect form. Goku and Gohan enter the Room of Spirit and Time. Vegeta battles Cell in his Ascended Super Saiyan form. Gohan transforms into a Super Saiyan for the first time. Cell absorbs Android 18 and returns to his perfect form, defeating both Vegeta and Trunks, even when Trunks has used the Ultra Super Saiyan form.
-Cell holds a martial arts tournament and announces to the world. Goku and Gohan escape from the Room of Spirit and Time.
-Piccolo enters the Room of Spirit and Time. Vegeta also enters once more.
Trunks enters the Room of Spirit and Time once more.
-Cell’s tournament begins, with Goku battling Cell, losing the match, and allowing Gohan to fight. Gohan transforms into Super Saiyan 2. Cell is completely pressured, intending to self-destruct and destroy Earth, but Goku sacrifices himself to teleport to King Kai’s planet, where he dies. Cell is reborn in a perfect form, receiving immense strength, but is ultimately defeated by Gohan after a Kamehameha beam struggle. Goku’s energy is absorbed. Trunks returns to the future.
-Goku’s second son, Goten, is born.
Age 770: Krillin and Android 18 get married.
Age 771: Krillin and Android 18’s daughter, Marron, is born.
Age 773: Kaioshin and Kibito arrive on Earth to investigate the remains of Majin Buu.
8. Buu Saga
Age 774:
-Gohan is recognized in Orange High School, where he meets Videl.
“The Golden Warrior” appears as a new superhero in Satan City. Bulma designs a costume for Gohan so he can transform into “Saiyaman” whenever he wants to hide his identity.
-Gohan teaches Videl how to fly.
-Vegeta discovers that Trunks can transform into a Super Saiyan.
-The 25th World Martial Arts Tournament is held. Goku returns to Earth to participate. Supreme Kai asks for the Z Fighters’ help to prevent Babidi from releasing Majin Buu. Vegeta defeats Pui Pui. Goku defeats Yakon. Gohan fights Dabura, ending in a draw. Vegeta is controlled and turns evil under Babidi’s influence. He fights Goku, but during the battle, Majin Buu appears.
-Vegeta battles Buu and sacrifices himself to destroy him. Goku teaches Trunks and Goten the Fusion Dance to defeat Buu. Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 3 to fight against Buu but retreats without killing him to leave an opening for the children. Buu kills Babidi. Due to the transformation into Super Saiyan 3, Goku must return to Earth to recover.
-Gohan rescues Old Kai from the Z Sword. Old Kai begins to unlock Gohan’s potential. Buu befriends Mr. Satan and a dog named Bee. Buu later absorbs the evil energy, creating Evil Buu, who absorbs him back into a stronger form known as Super Buu. Buu begins to kill nearly all the inhabitants.
-Goten and Trunks fuse to become Gotenks and battle Super Buu. Gotenks gets separated; however, Gohan returns and easily defeats Super Buu with his newfound strength. Piccolo and Gotenks are absorbed by Buu. Old Kai revives Goku, allowing him to return to Earth. Buu absorbs Gohan. Vegeta returns to Earth with the help of Baba. Goku and Vegeta fuse using the Potara earrings to become Vegetto, easily overpowering Buu.
-Vegetto enters Buu’s body and is separated back into Goku and Vegeta. Vegeta separates Good Buu from Super Buu, restoring him to his original form, Kid Buu. Kid Buu destroys Earth. Goku and Vegeta fight Buu at the Supreme Kai’s planet. Porunga (the Eternal Dragon of Namek) revives Earth. Vegeta is revived along with the other good beings, while Goku defeats Kid Buu with the Spirit Bomb.
Age 778:
-Gohan and Videl marry, and Videl becomes pregnant with Pan.
-The Z Fighters battle against the God of Destruction, Bills.
-The 26th World Martial Arts Tournament takes place. Mr. Satan is the champion. Mr. Buu is in attendance.
Age 779: Pan is born.
Age 780: Vegeta and Bulma’s daughter, Bulla, is born. In Future Trunks’ timeline: Future Gohan is killed, and Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan for the first time.
Age 781: The 27th World Martial Arts Tournament occurs. Mr. Satan is the champion. Mr. Buu is in attendance.
Age 784: The 28th World Martial Arts Tournament occurs. Goku meets Uub and begins training him. In Future Trunks’ timeline: Trunks uses a time machine to return to Age 764 to warn the Z Fighters about the Androids.
Age 785:
-In Future Trunks’ timeline: Trunks returns to Age 767 to help the Z Fighters battle the Androids. After Super Perfect Cell is defeated, Trunks returns to his timeline, killing Androids 17, 18, and the incomplete Cell.
-In the third parallel timeline of Cell (the timeline where Cell has appeared in the main timeline): Trunks travels back in time, finds the plans for the Androids, and eliminates them.
Age 788: In the third parallel timeline of Cell: Future Trunks is killed by the new Cell. Afterward, Cell uses the time machine to return to Age 763 to absorb 17 and 18.
9. Dragon Ball Super
Age 778: Gohan and Videl get married, and Videl becomes pregnant with Gohan’s daughter, Pan.
Age 778, August 18:
– Events in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods take place.
– Beerus awakens and begins searching for the Super Saiyan God. Beerus meets Goku on King Kai’s planet, later encountering others on Earth. Afterward, Goku uses the Dragon Balls to inquire about the Super Saiyan God.
– Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan God. Afterward, he battles Beerus, causing both to lose control of their powers.
+-Goku ultimately loses to Beerus, who decides not to destroy Earth, returning home with Whis.
Age 779:
-Pan is born.
– Events in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ occur.
– Vegeta travels to Beerus’ planet to train with Whis. Six months later, Goku joins the training, and both quickly become Super Saiyan Blue.
– Frieza is revived using the Dragon Balls on Earth. Afterward, he spends four months training to seek revenge on the Saiyans.
– Accompanied by 1000 soldiers, Frieza advances toward Earth to confront Goku and the Z Fighters. In the last battle, Frieza destroys Earth, but Whis uses his special ability to rewind time, allowing Goku to defeat Frieza before he can destroy Earth.
Age 780:
– The God of Destruction tournament between Universe 6 and Universe 7 begins, where Goku and Vegeta train for three years.
– During the tournament, Goku battles Botamo. Frost defeats Goku and Piccolo through deceit. Goku is re-entered into the tournament.
– Vegeta defeats Frost, Magetta, and Cabba, but is eliminated by Hit.

– Zeno, the king of the 12 universes, makes his first appearance.

In Future Trunks’ timeline: Future Gohan is killed by the Androids, while Future Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan for the first time. There are some discrepancies in this timeline; in the Manga, Trunks was able to transform into a Super Saiyan while Future Gohan was still alive, but in Dragon Ball Super, it reverts back, or in the Movie The History of Trunks, when Gohan was killed, Trunks had just transformed.
Age 781: The 27th World Martial Arts Tournament occurs. Mr. Satan is the champion. Mr. Buu is in attendance.
Age 784: The 28th World Martial Arts Tournament occurs. Goku meets Uub and begins training him. In Future Trunks’ timeline: Trunks uses a time machine to return to Age 764 to warn the Z Fighters about the Androids.
Age 785: In Future Trunks’ timeline: Trunks returns to Age 767 to help the Z Fighters battle the Androids. After Super Perfect Cell is defeated, Trunks returns to his timeline, killing Androids 17, 18, and the incomplete Cell.
– In the third parallel timeline of Cell (where Cell has appeared in the main timeline): Trunks travels back in time, finds the plans for the Androids, and eliminates them, then returns to this timeline. In this timeline, Trunks uses the plans to not only not let the Androids be created but also to eliminate them.
Age 788: In the third parallel timeline of Cell: Future Trunks is killed by the new Cell. Afterward, Cell uses the time machine to return to Age 763 to absorb 17 and 18.
10. Post Dragon Ball Z
The following section outlines the timeline after DBZ (starting from when Goku meets Uub) as provided by the author in the game Dragon Ball Online and is considered official.
Age 787:
– On May 7: The 29th World Martial Arts Tournament is held. Mr. Satan is the champion, and Mr. Buu is in attendance. During this tournament, the martial arts movement has spread across the world. The tournament has become a recognized sport. Mr. Satan and Mr. Buu become the most famous competitors.
– In this year, Dende restores the Dragon Balls. Due to Old Kai’s concerns, using the Dragon Balls may undo the natural order of the universe, and in a peaceful world, possessing the Dragon Balls could lead to war.
Age 790: Mr. Buu creates a female Buu called Miss Buu after being inspired by Mr. Satan’s popular comic: “Bob & Margaret.”
Age 793: Mr. Satan retires from martial arts and begins looking for ways to promote his fame and earn money.
Age 794: Pan becomes a martial arts instructor, teaching the elderly seriously and honing their skills to make money for her grandfather. From then on, people start learning how to control ki, which becomes the foundation for future martial arts schools.
Age 800: Planet Yandrat (the planet Goku visited after the Namek incident) explodes, and its remnants fall to Earth.
Age 801: Goku passes away. Realizing the aging process and the inevitability of death, he and Vegeta decide to leave Earth to settle unfinished business with each other, ensuring that no one sees the two again. Many years later, people find the remnants in the atmosphere, believed to be the result of the final battle.
Age 804: After Goku and Vegeta’s death, Gohan realizes he must find a way to preserve their legacy, which had previously been neglected. He begins studying and writes a book on his father’s martial arts, highlighting the importance of fighting techniques based on Ki.
Age 805: Gohan’s book inspires many, (including a chapter titled “Even Kachin can be cut”), leading Trunks and Goten to establish their martial arts school known as Ki Combat Techniques, focusing on teaching techniques to combat evil. By the year 1000, many on Earth have learned to fight using ki.
Age 820: Mr. Satan passes away. The Universal Martial Arts Tournament is held on Earth to celebrate his legacy, but is overshadowed by the intervention of Key Combat Techniques.
Age 821: Krillin and Tien Shinhan are revived from the afterlife, gathering many martial arts students to further their craft.
