Azur Games Dominates Mobile Gaming Market in Vietnam with Two Notable Publishers
April 2025 continues to witness significant shifts in the global mobile gaming market. According to data from AppMagic released by Gamingo, Azur Games holds the top position in the revenue rankings among the top 15 mobile game publishers, showcasing its consistent performance amidst the usual dominance of major players, alongside the rising prominence of various studios from different countries, including Vietnam.

In terms of downloads, Azur Games continues to secure the number one position with 115.9 million downloads, marking a strong showing for April as it follows its strategy of publishing engaging yet simple games. BabyBus (82.8 million downloads) and Miniclip (79.5 million downloads) secured the second and third positions respectively.

Notably, two names from Vietnam, ABI Games Studio and IKame Games, both made it to the Top 15 globally. ABI Games Studio is renowned for its educational games and continues to grow strongly. Similarly, IKame, a rising player in the industry, has made its mark with uniquely colorful game titles.

Alongside these, other names like Voodoo, SayGames, Outfit7 (Talking Tom), Supercent, Hungry Games Studio, Crazylabs, and 1SOFT… also maintained strong positions among the leading publishers. While Tencent Games experienced a drop in downloads, it still ranked 15th with 32.2 million, indicating a significant gap in revenue between Tencent and its competitors.
Tencent Leads in Revenue, Continuing as a Successful Game Publisher
According to global revenue rankings, Tencent Games remains at the forefront with $527.1 million in April, showing strong growth compared to the previous month and maintaining its position at the top for four consecutive months. Currently, the revenue gap between Tencent and its competitors is still quite significant.

Following Tencent, Century Games stands with $171.4 million, while FunPlus holds $160.3 million – both maintaining their strong positions in the long-term game development sector. Scopely with MONOPOLY GO! and King with Candy Crush Saga continue to thrive in the market with their iconic game brands.

Other notable positions in the Top 10 include Dream Games, Playrix, and NetEase Games, all of which are familiar names to global users. Additionally, Supercell, Moon Active, The Pokémon Company, Cognosphere, and Bandai Namco also contribute to the Top 15 highest revenue earners.
