Doraemon is a classic animated film beloved by millions of fans, not just children but adults as well. Recently, audiences have noticed a significant change in Nobita’s appearance after he gets a new pair of round glasses. This new look is only featured in the latest animated film version, distinct from the comic or previous animated adaptations.

Recently, the new animated film titled Doraemon: Nobita and the Land of the Rising Sun is set to be released in Vietnam. Fans have shared images of Nobita without glasses, showcasing a look that has been rarely seen in the film adaptations over the years. Alongside the praise for the new animation quality, viewers are also surprised by Nobita’s new demeanor when he wears glasses, which has been described as unexpectedly handsome.

Viewers are surprised by Nobita’s larger, brighter eyes after he dons his new glasses. This transformation showcases a Nobita that is vastly different from before. Previously, in the comics or long-running series, Nobita often had a rather dull and humorously awkward expression, resembling a different character entirely. Notably, Fujiko Fujio, the creator, had a unique style for characters who wore glasses, which often did not require detailed facial expressions.

It is undeniable that the latest animated versions of Doraemon have shown significant advancements in animation quality and character design. In Doraemon: Nobita and the Land of the Rising Sun, the aesthetics of Nobita and Shizuka have been praised for their beauty. In contrast to the previous iterations, the iconic duo will embark on an adventure to Utopia, promising joy and happiness. However, the plot still holds many secrets, and fans are eagerly awaiting the release for more surprises.
The film is set to premiere in Vietnam on May 26, 2023.
