Legends of Tomorrow is a TV Series (long-running superhero series) from DC Comics that premiered on The CW channel in early 2016. Although it has yet to achieve significant traction with viewers, the show’s plot surrounding the DC Comics superhero universe is compelling enough to create a dedicated following among fans.
The storyline revolves around a group of superheroes who travel from the future, united to prevent the catastrophic events caused by a powerful villain seeking to alter the timeline. The show features several well-known actors, including the popular duo Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller, who are particularly familiar to Vietnamese audiences from the series Prison Break.
In this series, the two actors portray key characters: Mick Rory (Heat Wave), who wields a heat gun, and Leonard Snart (Captain Cold), who uses an ice gun.
In Season 1, this band of superheroes faces substantial losses, including the sacrifice of Captain Cold during an episode near the end of the season alongside Hawkman and Hawkgirl. However, it has been teased that in Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow, our beloved actor Wentworth Miller will make a return.
Supporting this theory is a promotional image for upcoming episodes that features Captain Cold—Leonard Snart. Thus, after his heroic sacrifice for the team, he is set to return and continue his adventures alongside his brother, Heat Wave.
Captain Cold will return in this series. Fans who thought he had died will be thrilled to hear this news.
Alongside the promotional image, the producers also confirmed that characters played by Damien Darhk from Arrow and Eobard Thawne from The Flash will team up to create more challenges for the superheroes in this series.
Despite being brought back in this segment, Captain Cold will join the Legion of Doom in Season 2. However, fans of Legends of Tomorrow, especially dedicated followers of the DC superhero universe, feel delighted about this character’s return.
For those unfamiliar, Legends of Tomorrow is a brand-new series featuring superheroes who are spun off from two prominent shows: Arrow and The Flash. “When there’s only one hero left, it’s not enough… the universe needs legends,” serves as the slogan for this new series, and indeed, legends are what this show aims to create.
From the future, time-traveling hero Rip Hunter has assembled a team of both superheroes and supervillains to stop a massive threat that could alter history. Can this unlikely group of heroes stop the impending doom that threatens to rewrite everything they know?
