In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the anime Naruto, a global event has taken place. Namikaze Minato, the Fourth Hokage of Konoha, has impressively claimed the top position in the ranking of the most beloved Naruto characters, amassing nearly 800,000 votes (over 300,000 more than the second-place character).

As previously announced, the original manga creator, Kishimoto Masashi, has revealed that this victorious character will be featured in a new manga spin-off. This one-shot is set to be released at the end of this year, focusing on the father of Uzumaki Naruto.
Minato is a highly renowned character, known for his role as a ninja who saved the Hidden Leaf Village from the attack of the Nine-Tails while also taking responsibility for sealing the beast within his son. Additionally, Minato is recognized as a prodigy ninja, mastering several powerful techniques, including the Rasengan.

In the upcoming spin-off manga, Kishimoto Masashi will focus on Minato’s techniques, with a particular emphasis on the Rasengan. However, the author may also explore other unique abilities of the Fourth Hokage. For example, the Flying Thunder God Technique was perfected by Minato, originally created by the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama. Furthermore, Kishimoto might delve into Minato’s life and the sealing techniques of the Uzumaki clan, which he learned from Uzumaki Kushina.
The Naruto fandom is very excited about the release of the Minato spin-off and eagerly awaits more information about the storyline, especially as the publication date approaches. Meanwhile, discussions about the popularity of the Fourth Hokage and the character’s abilities as a ninja continue to thrive among fans.
