The popular Japanese website Goo Ranking has conducted a large-scale survey among the anime fan community with the title: “What is the best anime in the list?”. This survey utilized the term “Kami-Anime” (Divine Anime) to highlight only those animated works that have passed through many genres and are universally appreciated by fans.
The selection for “Kami-Anime” was structured with the participation of all anime lovers, regardless of their genre preference, including comedy, action, horror, and various other styles.
As of this point in time, many animated works have been broadcast and premiered in recent years, captivating fans of all ages. So, which titles will rank high in the “Kami-Anime” survey list?
The survey collected data from over 1,897 anime titles registered (meaning the selected titles for voting), with more than 36,467 participants and over 202,961 votes. It’s important to note that participants could score from 1 to 100 for the projects they were interested in, explaining the larger number of votes compared to the number of participants.

By 2013, the anime adaptation of Attack on Titan produced by Wit Studio debuted to audiences with its first season. The second and third seasons continued under Wit Studio’s production from 2017 to 2019. In December 2020, Attack on Titan announced the release of its fourth season, which is also the final season, produced by MAPPA Studio.
