The third installment of the DC cinematic universe – Suicide Squad has recently released its DVD version, featuring numerous deleted scenes that were cut before the theatrical release. Among these scenes, fans are particularly interested in the appearances of Joker, portrayed by actor Jared Leto.

This situation stems from the fact that when Suicide Squad premiered, the production company heavily promoted the Joker’s presence in the film. However, in reality, this character had a rather limited appearance. The few scenes he did have were intense, making it difficult for viewers to fully appreciate the essence of Joker.
Recently, several devoted fans, after watching the deleted scenes of Joker in this DVD version of Suicide Squad, have come forward to defend Jared Leto’s portrayal, stating that while the character may not have had a significant role, he still left an impression. Moreover, the Joker in the film has quite a few details that hint at his connections with other DC films.

The Ace Chemicals building
One notable scene is set against the backdrop of the Ace Chemicals building, which many dedicated fans may have recognized. This iconic building in Gotham City appears briefly in a wide-angle shot, and only the most attentive fans might catch the special significance of this location. Ace Chemicals is the factory where Joker produces the chemical substances that led to Harley Quinn’s transformation.

If you have watched the long-running DC series Gotham, you might have also seen this building featured in season 2, emphasizing the connection between Suicide Squad and the DC TV series.
However, despite the speculation from fans, everything still hinges on official confirmation from DC Comics.
