“When actors engage in an intimate scene, they are completely immersed in their characters, which can lead to emotional responses that are difficult to manage. To address this delicate situation, the key is the professionalism of the intimacy coordinators. We strictly adhere to specific guidelines to ensure the actors feel comfortable and safe, such as allowing for a five-minute break to regain composure and clarity, helping them manage their emotions,” David Thackeray revealed.
Experts in intimate scenes add: “The most important factor is that the crew must continue filming. However, professionals like us need to be very clear about the situation with the film’s cast to explain the context so that no one feels uncomfortable or stressed.”

According to Insider, the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) has put forth a list of regulations and detailed guidelines regarding intimate scene filming and the necessary considerations actors must be aware of when performing these intimate sequences. This is referred to as the Nudity Riders.
